These guys are crooks. All this advertising on their website! I just sent an email with my issue. And automatically I received an answer that they are not working with any new cases at the moment!! What kind of “service “ is that?! Or maybe they went to jail.. who knows.

Nakai handled promptly, very professionally and with very capable non Japanese language skills. Yes, our office had all the documents from our side prepared but Nakai pulled it totally together in 4 days for submission to immigration.

The applicant was a SE Asian recent graduate of a 2 year college here. We were hiring as an entry level new employee. Nakai accessed the situation, gave advise and also guessed how long it would take to the successful conclusion.

I retained Nakai Immigration Services LPC in mid-2020 to assist me with the process of obtaining residency in Japan. Having initially contacted them via their website, they responded quickly (within an hour, I believe), provided thorough information, and a clear list of what documentation I would need to send to them to begin the process.

Japan is notorious for the volume and complexity of its bureaucratic paperwork, and I found the prospect of submitting for residency very daunting. I'm very glad that I chose Nakai Immigration Services as my legal representation.

The firm's partners and associates were very communicative and made themselves available throughout much of their working hours. Though they had suspended most operations in their Osaka office due to a decrease in clientele during the Covid-19 pandemic, one of their partners came to Osaka several times specifically to assist with my case, and to attend the immigration bureau with me.

The ultimate result was an approval of my application, which was a massive relief to me, especially in the midst of the anxiety and uncertainty that's plagued the year 2020. I highly recommend anyone to contact them if they are faced with an immigration issue in Japan.

I have mixed experiences with them when I hired them to help me get a renewal for my visa.
- The good thing was that they prepared a list of documents that I needed to prepare.
- The bad thing was that after 3 months of communication they eventually cancelled 1 day before my visa was going to expire...

So I was forced to go to a different immigration lawyer and got it done way faster (1 week) + got approved for the visa extension.
